Ria Authentic Malaysian

Ria Authentic Malaysian – 3.5/5

Ria is a popular Oxford Street restaurant serving Malaysian fare. We visited on a Thursday night and it was full – make sure you book if you’re coming to try.

Our table of six tried a range of dishes – the black pepper and coriander fried chicken, the Chinese shredded beef, the coconut chicken, the Portuguese baked fish, the seafood tamarind, roti bread and the stir fried snow peas. The tables are way too small to handle all the plates so it was a bit of a juggling act! Service was friendly.

I wasn’t a huge fan of all the dishes but would recommend the seafood tamarind and our favourite, the Portuguese baked fish – spicy and full of flavour! It was my first time trying Malaysian food, so I can’t comment on its authenticity but I’d love to hear what you thought if you’ve visited before.
