Mrs S - 4/5
I have a habit of ordering the pork dish on the breakfast menu. Half because I know it was taste amazing and half because it’s usually a ridiculously huge meal and I justify it by saying, “It’s the weekend!”. So on spying the Manwich on the menu, it took all my might to order something different from the menu pegged inside a cute story book. And, whilst I did watch in envy as the table next to us devoured their sandwiches, we were more than happy with our choices of the home made granola and the smashed avocado.
The granola was beautiful. Dark and crunchy topped with lots of fruit, yogurt and edible flowers – it was a joy to eat. The avocado on toast came with roasted tomatoes and crunchy chickpeas and a generous serving of salad leaves. Topped off with a watermelon and an apple juice, our meals were not only tasty but a much lighter option than we usually choose. They both went down a treat, especially in the scorching Perth heat over the weekend.
The friendly wait staff will seat you went you arrive, however, orders are placed at the counter. The cafe gets very busy on the weekends, but we’ve found that the wait is never that long.
