Luke Nguyen Dinner – 4.5/5 We were lucky enough to be apart of a dinner held last night to launch Luke Nguyen’s new book. Alongside a delicious three course meal with matching wines, we were able to meet the lovely chef and were entertained with great stories from his travels.
All dishes were from his book – Food of Vietnam. There was a delicious chargrilled salmon salad, rice paper rolls, beef ribs, steamed barramundi, asparagus and mushrooms and an amazing tapioca dessert. The tapioca was served alongside a tamarind icecream, puffed rice and coconut and mango. It was definitely a highlight.
The new book is beautiful, I’m really looking forward to trying some of the recipes out. And Luke was just as warm and friendly as he is on his show! A lovely night.
