Nora – 3.5/5
Nora - 3.5/5 When entering Nora on a grey Melbourne day, the interiors are almost blinding. All white with simple furniture - it's a Nordic-style heaven. A bakery/breakfast/lunch spot, Nora is a great choice in the Carlton area if you are after something a little different from the norm. We had the 'Dear Mitchell' - custard-like eggs, chilli dressing, salted shrimp and thai greens and 'Martin's Place' - faux corned beef, kale, white fungus, cured egg yolk and water chestnuts. The dishes were beautifully plated and an interesting mix of textures, albeit a little too small to be filling. Flavours are strong. The White Duke tea and the complimentary bread were lovely.
